Invitation from the Congress Chair

Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to extend an invitation to all colleagues in the field of Botany to join us in Melbourne in July 2011 at the XVIII International Botanical Congress.

The Congress is now less a year away and it is time to take advantage of early registration, plan your abstract for submission and organise your visit to Australia.

The Organising Committee and the Scientific Program Committee are working hard to guarantee the strongest scientific program, superb social events, an outstanding exhibition, and the best opportunities for bringing members of the botanical community together in the one location to enhance scientific and social interaction.

We extend the warmest of welcomes to our international and national colleagues, and look forward to greeting you in Melbourne in 2011 and to share with you what promises to be a most exciting and memorable Congress.
